Laureate News: Attacca Quartet in a movie, "A Late Quartet"

News from Chamber Music America features Attacca Quartet, Plowman '07!

The Attacca Quartet and cellist Nina Lee of the Brentano String Quartet make appearances in A Late Quartet, the recently released feature film starring Philip Seymour Hoffman and Christopher Walken. The plot, involving a fictional quartet in its 25th year, centers musically on Beethoven’s Op. 131; the Brentano's recording is used on the soundtrack. Other CMA members consulted on the project and are listed in the credits.
